Molton (natural)

This molton in the color natural (RAL 1015 light ivory) is a flame-retardant cotton fabric that is ideal for use as a curtain. Many of our customers first wanted to use a wool loden fabric as a curtain, for example to provide more warmth and coziness on drafty large windows or doors. However, we would like to advise against this for cost reasons and because of the risk of moth infestation. This fabric is also a cheap alternative for hobby crafts where historically accurate fabric is not important. It is opaque and sound-absorbing and, due to its flame-retardant finish, falls under flame-retardant materials B1 according to DIN 4102. If you don’t want this flame protection, you can also wash it out. The Molton is available for purchase here in the color natural (RAL 1015 light ivory). From a purchase quantity of at least 10m, 10 additional colors can also be delivered. The width of the Molton is 300 cm with a total weight of 900g per linear meter. This corresponds to a weight of 300g/m².
