Wool blanket 130x190cm with fringes

This beautiful wool blanket, made from pure wool, will make cold feet a thing of the past!

Its timeless herringbone or diamond twill pattern matches many interior styles and has been very popular for centuries, if not millennia.

The blanket weighs approx. 700g and has a weight of 300g/m². It is rather light to medium warm.
The dimensions are 130 x 190 cm with fringes and about 130 x 175 cm without fringes.

Please note that the dimensions may vary slightly.

For care, we recommend hand washing (cold to 25°C).
Please do not spin or wring, just squeeze out and lay flat to dry.
The blanket is not suitable for the dryer.
Like other textiles, wool can shrink when washed.
Wool contains lanolin and is therefore not very susceptible to dirt. The lanolin is washed out when washed. We therefore recommend hanging the blanket in a damp bathroom or outside in fog to freshen it up.

The blanket was made entirely in Germany.

An important note for reenactors: Unfortunately, there is no evidence of these blankets. However, the herringbone or diamond twill pattern was very popular, especially in the early Middle Ages, although as far as I know only for clothing and then with a maximum weave width of around 100cm. But don’t worry, these blankets are also great for today!
