This product is made from Scandinavian and New Zealand wool. Wool is mulesing-free, from appropriately certified spinning mills. All yarns are spun and dyed in Europe according to the REACH standards (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals). They have the ÖKO-TEX certificate.
This blanket is made by the Finnish weaving mill Lapuan Kankurit. This was founded in 1917 in Lankilankoski near Lapua. The company owner Esko Hjelt and his wife Jaana are the fourth generation to run the company.
Note for the reenactors: These blankets show a diamond twill pattern, but they are made using the jacquard weaving technique on modern looms.
